The plight of American manufacturing has been greatly exaggerated. In fact, the U.S. remains among the world’s largest manufacturing economies. While our industry must overcome challenges, our story is one of growth. And thanks to American know-how, innovation, and expertise, the future is bright indeed.
As the national representative of the precision custom manufacturing industry, the National Tooling and Machining Association exists to tell this story with a powerful voice. Backed by nearly 2,000 members, representing more than $40 billion in sales, the clout we collectively wield is considerable. We also serve as a valuable national resource for our members, helping them grow profitably.
While many of our members are privately owned independent businesses, the products and services they provide are absolutely vital to the nation’s economy. Our products serve industries from aerospace to electronics to nuclear power.
NTMA is organized into nearly 50 local chapters throughout the country.
