Congratulations to all of the 63 teams that participated at the NRL 2016 National Competition on May 20-21 at the Convocation Center on the campus of California University of Pennsylvania.
Pine-Richland High School’s Bot, The Punisher, battled to win the Grand Champion honors. This includes the NRL Grand Champion trophy innovated by Inventionland and $500 prize from the National Tooling & Machining Association.
The First Place Award went to Conchranton Junior-Senior High School and their bot, Juggernaut. Second place went to Carnegie Mellon University’s Disko. Third place went to Admiral Peary AVTS and their bot, The Joker.
Pine-Richland High School also received the Best Engineered Bot Award. Beaumont School won the Best Engineering Documentation Award while Carnegie Mellon University’s Robotics club won the Best Sportsmanship and Coolest Bot Awards.
